"In De Gecroonde Duyvekater" Bakery Museum at the Zaanse Schans (Zaanstad - Holland)
In de Gecroonde Duyvekater (freely translated: At the crowned sweet loaf) Bakery Museum is located in a charming house dating back to 1658.
The original bakery is full of tasty treats and has a beautiful marble floor. It also features an authentic bread-baking oven. The bakery got its name from a type of sweet bread (Duivekater) that is still made in the Zaan region. This building once stood in Zaandijk, but was moved
to the Zaanse Schans in 1970.
