Delta Air Lines flies the Airbus A330-900neo with seats 281 passengers and is primarily used on International routes. This aircraft features 29 flat-bed Delta One Suites, 28 Delta Premium Select seats, 56 Delta Comfort+ seats, and 168 Economy seats. Delta Air Lines was the launch customer for the A330-900, ordering 25 in November 2014 and an additional 10 four years later. The Airbus A330neo (for "New Engine Option") is a wide-body jet airliner developed by Airbus from the Airbus A330 and was launched on 14 July 2014 at the Farnborough Airshow, promising 14% better fuel economy per seat. It is exclusively powered by the Rolls-Royce Trent 7000 with double bypass ratio, in contrast to its predecessor. Its two versions are based on the A330-200 and -300: the -800 should cover 8150 nmi (15,090 km) with 257 passengers while the -900 should cover 7200 nmi (13,330 km) with 287 passengers.
