Standing at the Haruru Falls just around the corner from Paihia, New Zealand.

Spanning the Waitangi River, this waterfall is wider than it is tall and is surrounded by wilderness as it cascades over the rock cliffs
to the pool below. Haruru Falls is in the shape of a horseshoe and the water noise is very loud - you can hear it gushing before you see it.
The word "Haruru" means "big noise" and that is what you will hear when standing near this waterfall.
