The Airbus Helicopters H145M (previously known as the Eurocopter EC-645T2, the military version of the EC-145) is an economical and versatile military helicopter covering the entire spectrum of military missions, from light utility to light attack. The H145M delivers reliability and low operating costs of the Airbus Helicopters' multi-role EC-145, which is a rotorcraft of reference for law enforcement organizations and military services.
In RAF use, the Jupiter forms part of one of two new UK Military Flying Training System helicopters, provided by Airbus Helicopters.

The Defence Helicopter Flying School (DHFS) was a military flying school based at RAF Shawbury in Shropshire, England. The school, established in 1997, was a tri-service organisation and trained helicopter aircrews for all three British armed forces. It initially used the Eurocopter Squirrel HT1 and Bell Griffin HT1 helicopters, which were later replaced by the Airbus Helicopters H135 Juno HT1 and H145 Jupiter HT1. The school was re-badged as No. 1 Flying Training School during February 2020 and continues to provide helicopter training the British armed forces.

The Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT) is the world's largest military air show, held annually over the third weekend in July,
usually at RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire, England in support of The Royal Air Force Charitable Trust.
The show typically attracts a total of 150.000 to 160.000 spectators over the weekend.
