Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado; The yellow-bellied marmot (Marmoto flaviventris) has a shrill alarm call which accounts for its nick name "whistler". It feeds almost entirely on grasses ans other green plants. It often engages in playful wrestling matches in which a pair will stand erect on hind leg, place forefeet together and push each other.
