Airbus A321-253N (N922VA / MSN 7639) from Virgin America at Hamburg-Finkenwerder Airport (Airbus' Hamburg facility, Germany)
Today (24 May 2017) was the delivery flight of the 2nd Airbus A321neo to Virgin America,
from Hamburg-Finkenwerder Airport (Germany) to Bangor International Airport (United States).
The aircraft will then head to Miami International Airport (United States) for configuration.
Virgin America contracts heavy maintenance and modifications to AAR’s facility in Miami.

Leased by GECAS (GE Capital Aviation Services), the first A321neo (N921VA) was delivered in Hamburg to Virgin America, configured with a 185-seat, three-class cabin and powered by CFM International LEAP-1A (Leading Edge Aviation Propulsion) engines. It entered service in May 2017. All leased from the same lessor, five A321neos should be delivered to Virgin in 2017 and five in 2018 if its owner (Alaska Airlines Group) keeps two fleet types.
