Norwegian Air Shuttle, trading as Norwegian, is a Norwegian low-cost airline and Norway's largest airline. It is the third largest low-cost carrier in Europe behind easyJet and Ryanair and the ninth-largest low-cost airline in the world, the largest airline in Scandinavia, and the eighth-largest airline in Europe in terms of passenger numbers. It offers a high-frequency domestic flight schedule within Scandinavia and Finland, and to business destinations such as London, as well to holiday destinations in the Mediterranean and Canary Islands, transporting over 30 million people in 2016.
Norwegian's livery consists of a red nose, followed by a blue ribbon and white, with the vertical stabilizer initially featuring historically distinctive Norwegians, Swedes, Danes, and Finns, but has since expanded to individuals of other nationalities across Europe and the Americas. An element of the airline's branding, the airline calls the practice its "Tail Fin Heroes" program, claiming that the personalities together with the red nose signals the airline's change-maker spirit.
Carl Olof Larsson (1853 – 1919) was a Swedish painter representative of the Arts and Crafts movement. His many paintings include oils, watercolours, and frescoes. He is principally known for his watercolours of idyllic family life. He considered his finest work to be Midvinterblot (Midwinter Sacrifice), a large painting now displayed inside the Swedish National Museum of Fine Arts.
