Blueface Angelfish at Antwerp Zoo, also known as Zoo Antwerpen or Zoo d'Anvers (Belgium)

Pomacanthus Xanthometopon is known under several different names in English, including Blueface Angelfish, Yellowface Angelfish and Yellowmask Angelfish. The Blueface Angelfish occurs in the Indo-Pacific, from the Maldives to Vanuatu, north to the Yaeyama Islands, and Palau and Krosae in Micronesia. The Blueface Angelfish usually lives singly or in pairs and feeds on tunicates, sponges, other encrusting organisms and algae.
It is an egg-laying species and scatters its eggs on the seabed.
