Debating Chamber of the Federal Council

Tour guide is explaining the Debating Chamber of the Federal Council to some students. Used in the times of the monarchy as an ante-room and meeting-place of the members of the House of Lords, this hall today serves as the chamber of the nine federal provinces of Austria, whose coats-of-arms are affixed above the president’s seat.
